I applied online. I interviewed at Hilton (Salt Lake City, UT) in Mar 2014
Interview
Easy and smooth. They were on time and professional. i did interviews with 3 different people. Human resources, assistant general manager and general manager. They asked me pretty much same questions. i was kind of surprised when 3 of them asked me same questions. it made me think they had a communication issues maybe? or are they connected? well i didn't like the fact but i wanted to know more. thats why i did a little bit more researches and couldn't hear anything bad. and i wanted to be part of the team.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Hilton (Cleveland, OH) in May 2025
Interview
Started with a phone screening with recruiter, 2 interviews, with assistant directors and then the director. I called the recruiter after the two interviews, after I received a verbal offer to ask a few questions before I signed the offer. Open discussion, very positive experience.

I applied online. I interviewed at Hilton (Coronado, CA) in Apr 2023
Interview
Most unprofessional interview I have ever been in. I arrived at the Hotel Del in Coronado and spoke with a manager about my skillset for 30 minutes. She had concerns that I have not worked the front of the house of a restaurant, but I assured her I have worked in many restaurant settings. Then, the Assistant Director arrived and said I only have a few minutes to speak with you I am very busy. He asked me the same questions as the other manager. Abruptly, he said let me get the director to speak with you. He left me alone in an empty restaurant and never returned. I sat there for 30 minutes until I got up and left. They emailed me an hour later asking me to come back. I was no longer interested in working there.
Phone & Skype interview initially, followed by face-to-meeting, discussions and negotiations. Overall easy-going mood, felt more like a casual discussion compared to a strict, robotic interview. Great experience, definitely depends on the person though
