      Graphic Designer Interview

      2 Apr 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hatch Collection (New York, NY) in Mar 2018

      Interview

I applied online, had an in person interview and was given a design test to do at home. My interview was rescheduled three times, the interview went well. Afterwards I was given a design test. I got no response back that my design test had been received and have yet to receive any sort of response three weeks later after following up multiple times. Kind of afraid they are using my designs.

      Interview

I applied online. I had one initial phone interview and then was brought in for an in person interview where I showed samples of my work. I then was given a design test and never heard anything from them. One month later I saw my email design I completed in my design test being used by them.

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Hatch Collection (New York, NY) in Mar 2017

      Interview

I applied online on a Friday and within 24 hours received a request to come into the office to meet the Creative Director. I spent the weekend rearranging my schedule to make it on that Monday. Overall, from applying to arriving at the office, the process took three days. The meeting was scheduled for 3:30 PM. I arrived 15 minutes early. By 3:35 PM the meeting was cut off. I was told that it was a "hectic time" and the Creative Director apologized for being "rude". I was handed a business card to contact her to execute a sample project. Working on a sample project for a graphic design role is pretty normal. However, I am incredibly unmotivated to rearrange my schedule again to accommodate their process. After reading the most recent review here I feel a sense of affirmation that this business has no respect for people and their time. If someone is disrespected during the interview process, it would be ridiculous to expect the work environment to be respectful of you and your contributions.
