I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at H&M in Oct 2024
Interview
I applied Friday morning. Walked in the same day to give my physical resume and introduce myself. The following Tuesday, I received a call for an individual in person Visual Assessment Interview for next Tuesday with the Store Manager and Visual Keyholder. The management team was very inviting and made me feel comfortable to show my personality. They themselves also had a fun personality which made the experience feel natural. I was given a store tour then, was asked to assess strengths and opportunities throughout the store in different departments. Next, I was asked to style together a rack from a seasonal trend given from an inspiration visual. I thoroughly enjoyed this visual interview. After, they gave me great feedback and asked if I had any questions along with why I wanted to work for H&M. My advice is to be yourself, have fun, and show your creativity with this assessment. Don't be afraid to ask questions or if you need a clear understanding of the assessment. Received an email the same day for a second interview with the Area Visual Manager for Thursday. My second interview was over the phone. I was asked about my desired salary, availability, about myself, and what I felt will be the most challenging task in this position for me. I appreciated this phone conversation as the AVM also introduce herself and experience as a visual with the company and various brands. It felt like a friendly causal conversation. My advice for the second interview is to understand who you are and share your experience while being yourself. I received a phone call from the Store Manager the upcoming Monday with a job offer.

Question 1
How would you deal with a situation where you’re one team member down and have to set up a department on your own?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at H&M (Hamburg)
Interview
Two interviews one in person and one online with area VM. Also a practical in person interview to do with the role - pick an outfit for a certain occasion or make up a trend based on a mood board
