The interview began with an introduction to the company by the store manager where she asked a few questions on H&M as a company, i.e how many stores did they have and in how many countries. The large group was then split up into small groups of around eight then sent to different departments within the store. There was then a few tasks which the group undertook; picking an outfit for a customer and justifying this, a time trial to clear a rail on the shop floor, moving some of the stock on the floor and justifying the reasons for this. Finally there was an informal discussion at the end where the interviewer gave a few scenarios that could happen in store i.e an angry customer and the group had to decide what would be the best way to deal with it.
