I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at GreyCastle Security in Oct 2022
Interview
Had 3 different calls; call with the recruiter, but she forgot about it and after 15 minutes of waiting I finally emailed her and she said let's reschedule. Fine. Had that call, went great. Moved on to round 2 with the Senior Director of Business Development. That call went great and he mentioned, "If we decide to move forward, the next call would be going over the job description to make sure you fit and talk about compensation". Was ecstatic to find out I was moving on to the next step. Call 3 was the opposite of what I was told it was going to be. It was another full-blown interview, which I was not prepared for. I tried calling the recruiter's direct line multiple times to talk about that call as it did not go how I imagine and wasn't able to get ahold of her. This was pretty disrespectful to me as I had prepared to talk about how my qualifications met what they were looking for, but due to a lack of communication on their part, I was completely blindsided. The reviews on Glassdoor about the lack of communication from the recruiters are absolutely true. I would steer away.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The first call was standard, talking about the position, what I do, etc. The second call was "Get to know you" a new interview practice to relax the interviewee and allow them to speak freely. The third call was a more formal interview based and was something I was not prepared for. As the second call indicated I would be talking about the job description and compensation.
