I spoke with a recruiter first and then I spoke to two managers within the marketing/events department of Goldman Sachs. It was about a 30 minute interview. The first half was them explaining the job, then asking me questions and any questions I had for them.

Absolutely one of the most demoralizing experiences of my entire life. This is a basic support position, but they will try to rule your whole life. They are specifically looking for people who are excited and passionate, but willing to do anything asked of them. I would have been happy to be that person, it’s a stable job, pays well, and would have looked great on a resume. They didn’t like my looks, my background, or apparently anything about me and I was insulted to my face for about 20 minutes and then told I wasn’t conservative enough to fit in.
