I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner (London, England) in Mar 2016
Interview
Strange 2nd interview. The initial conversation with Talent Acquisition went well and she put me through to the next stage, a phone interview with HR. I had spent hours preparing as I had been warned they were hot on candidates knowing about Gartner. I noticed a couple of anomalies on their web site and raised this with her as a way of demonstrating the time I had spent on prep. Then, as they say in sales, to check my understanding of the role, asked her a couple of questions about how they sell their products. From that point on I got virtually monosyllabic answers to every question, and was very abruptly told at the end she wouldn’t be taking me forward to the next stage as I hadn’t prepared enough for the interview! She was so rude and abrupt I was stunned.

Question 1
Which traits are your strongest based on the key traits gartner looks for and how?
Sloppy recruiter
Unorganized
No follow up/lots of time between follow ups
phone screening and then panel interview via zoom
accidentally sent me someone else's resume
last minute added different executives to the interview
I received a message from a recruiter and had a phone screen with them. They said they would let me know about a follow up call, but they never got back to me. I reached back out to them to follow up, but I didn't receive a response.
