Gainesville Housing Authority interview questions

Unprofessional. Not planned. No official HR process. I applied for a Compliance position around October. I was sent a series of sample work scenarios to complete. The email listed the names of other candidates as well, so I knew who the 3 other candidates were. I did not hear anything from the company after that until June of the following year. I received an email from the Executive Director along with a job description asking me if I was interested in the Operations Director position. I responded to the email that I was interested. An interview was scheduled within the next week. I went to the interview on Monday and started the job on Wednesday. I went to work Wednesday at 8am and waited in the waiting area. The receptionist gave me a folder with the job description and other paperwork. The Finance Director walked me to her office and randomly talked about different things because the person I was to train with was not in the office. She then walked me to a room with tables to read over materials, etc. I sat in the room alone for over 2 hours (10am), waiting on the arrival of previous OD. He was not interested in training so he just printed documentation and gave it to me. I ended riding with him for the next 3 days while he ran errands preparing to move. NO REAL INTERVIEW PROCESS
