Interview
Got contacted via a social media platform. Had a phone screen. The conclusion was my salary expectations were perfectly aligned with the market and my expertise. Was asked to provide a portfolio and a CV for the next steps, which I did. Was asked to do an in-person interview at my own expense, which I did. Was assured I would hear back, but never did. It's an active choice to display this lack of professionalism from the get-go, and I feel it hurts the image of the company. Still waiting for them to thank me for my time (again, they contacted me) and let me know, at the very least, that they preferred other candidates.
