In my twenty years plus as an engineering leader, this was hands down the worst interview experience to date. The interviewer to remain anonymous was ill prepared and at the start said she only had 25 minutes as she was already late to her next appointment. She then was confused on the role she was interviewing for and I had to tell her that this was not for an IC role but for the engineering leader role leading the digital transformation. She then cut the interview short, leaving me one minute to ask any questions I might have. The interview was completely one sided and not a conversation from the start. Although I was ghosted by Geico and the recruiter, even if the job were offered to me, I would not have accepted as this is representational of the leadership in charge of the transformation. Prospects beware.
