Interview
I applied online. I've been told this is the best way to have your resume and application reviewed.
A few days later they called me and within a minute or two it turned into a phone interview. Mostly general questions such as "Tel me about yourself" and "why would you want to work for GEICO." Then they asked me if I'd like to come in for testing.
Testing was simple. There was a typing test, a behavioral test (Do you Strongly Agree/Disagree stuff), and a test where you are "multi-tasking" and clicking things on the screen.
After the testing- which was almost 45 minutes- I was asked to sit for a face-to-face interview. That was mostly straightforward. Nothing out of the ordinary. And then came the mock phonecalls.
I was given a fact sheet with a fake company, fake company information and a list of standard ways the company functions. The phone in my room was broken so the interviewer sat facing the corner (it was really funny and I had a good time) pretending to call and be a customer. There were 3 or 4 scenarios we went through and after each one the interviewer took a few minutes to score it.
Then I went upstairs was listened to a customer service agent take calls for an hour or so.
After that, I was asked to meet with a manager and we did a 5 minute interview, he asked a few questions, explained the job, salary, hours and background/credit screening.
I was offered the job pending drug screening and background check.
It took around 5 hours.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The mock phone calls. It's all about thinking on your feet.
There are two rounds. The first round is virtual and they ask about your background and if you can handle the process. For the second-round, You will shadow someone for 20 minutes then proceed for a 40 minute interview. There are a lot of situational questions.

You first fill out an assessment test. The assessment test isn't difficult; there are a few parts to it. First is the reading tables section. It asks you a question about the table and based on that you pick one of the four answers. This part is timed so you want to pace yourself a little bit. The other part is picking the statement that describes you the best, then the second-best statement out of three statements. Overall, this did not take long.
