After receiving a call from the office I wanted to apply for in Indiana, and the hiring agent knowing that I would be permanently relocating. I currently live in Florida and the position was set to start in March 12, my plans were to be set up in a new home by February 28. Geico HR. Rep. Tells me to go to their Lakeland office to do the pre screening, assessment and test which lasted 5 hours , after passing everything a hiring manager calls me from indiana for me to meet face to face for ANOTHER interview not even guaranteeing a position, I explained the price of a flight and I had already invested $400 just to go do pre testing in lakeland, I offered Skype or any other method to just look at each other and talk , I received the call that they were denying me the position. This is so disappointing, I can invest almost $1000. Dollars for someone to look at me and talk about the position AGAIN .. I had made all this effort to them be denied, if they would of have told me that after all the assessment, and testing I still had to go to indiana I would of have never invested my money and time to travel to lakeland to then be denied, as a relocation I cannot afford to move to a place without a job is just does not work like that, I would have thought that geico would have taken into consideration, the time and money invested to drive from key west to lakeland and hotel plus gas plus food...this broke my heart.

Process was pretty straightforward, I applied online, within minutes I was sent an email for an assessment, within 24 hours I was able to schedule a phone interview. I was asked to come in for a final in person interview. I received an offer.
