Very unprofessional way to treat people.
After setting up a first phone call, the same day I received an email with rejection from the company. After asking the recruiter about it, he said that it was a mistake and the interview still active for the day.
At the time, I have received the call but the connectivity was awful, it wasn’t a clear sound and the voice lost so many times. The recruiter just want to do the call to make up the previous rejection email. He did not present the company, either the position just said “tell me about your current role”. After that he said the company hasn’t had vacancies but they were interviewing just in case it in the future maybe they will come up. After 15min the conversation ended because “maybe in the future so we can be in touch”. 10 minutes later, I received another rejection email but this time for a TA specialist position I did not even apply.
Clearly one the most unprofessional experience in my life. For that I prefer to cancel the phone call rather to have this amateur chat without any purpose. My time has a price, don’t like to waste it with fake interest.
