After interviewing with HR and my would-be manager, I was given a list of tasks that they said should take 5-7 days to complete. It was the longest and most laborious test I've ever had to do just for an interview. The instructions given were fairly clear but some of the files given by them were mislabeled, which was a red flag to me. The skill level of the various tasks ranged from intern level to senior/lead level. I found that bizarre as they had supposedly already vetted my portfolio prior to the test and should be testing me on skills appropriate to my level and the job position. After submitting the test ahead of time, Funcom took 3 days to acknowledge receipt of the files. I did not hear from them again for a whole month. I prodded for a reply and got an automated rejection response a week after.
