I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Finish Line (San Jose, CA) in Nov 2010
Interview
I applied online, and the next day I got a call back (I don't think it would be a quick response fro others), the interviewer asked basic questions about your personality . Only hard task was to "sell" a shoe to the hiring manager. The hiring manager also said that they are looking for good communicators, energetic people, and the willingness to work as a team.
Standard entry level customer service industry questions. Hired on the spot. Quick process one on with the manager. Got a tour of the store right after. Reviewed resume with manager and went over work history
The interview process typically includes an initial phone screening, followed by one or more interviews with team members or managers, assessing skills, experience, and cultural fit, with potential for final-round evaluations.
interview was very straightforward. some easy questions, some tough questions. there were lots of scenario questions that i loved answering. i am very eager to hear back for my second interview
