      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Fast Enterprises (Denver, CO) in Apr 2017

      Interview

After submitting my resume, I got an email in about 2 weeks inviting me to have a phone interview. That was scheduled for a week later with a girl in HR. Then, I was invited to have another phone interview a week later with a training coordinator. They were both standard "tell me about a time when..." or "what would you do if..." questions. They were both very pleasant, answered lots of my questions, and explained the role to me. Soon after my second interview, I was invited to the campus in Centennial (Denver). It was about a month later that I actually went, just due to the fact that I couldn't get the time off from my current job to go. It was great at headquarters. They paid for everything. It started out with a tour of the building, and then there was a 30 minute IQ test. This thing was difficult. I had practiced IQ tests online and aced them, but this one was way harder, just as a heads up. Anyway, after that, two training coordinators came in and interviewed me. It was similar to the phone interviews. Then, they asked me to do a brain teaser. I had done most of the ones they asked me about, and I told them so. They finally found one that I hadn't done, and it was pretty hard. I won't tell you what it is, because that would ruin the whole point of the brain teaser. They want to see how you figure it out, and talk while you're doing it. After that, they went out while I prepared a lesson. I ended up teaching the interviewers a basic waltz step, which they seemed to enjoy. At the end, I asked them some questions about the position, and it was over. They left, and the HR girl who showed me the building came back in and introduced me to another employee who took me and another candidate to lunch. They told me that they would let me know within 2 weeks, and they emailed me about a week and a half later to offer me the position.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

When you are in a group, what role do you usually fill? In this position, you deal with some difficult personalities. How would you deal with someone who was upset because he doesn't want to change the way he's been doing his job for the past 20 years? What do you want to get out of this position? Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

      Interview

I applied through their job board and submitted my application. They got back to me very quickly for an interview, especially considering the job had been posted for months. The interview tested how you would approach a situation, asking questions about your resume, and determining if you were a good fit.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Past experiences, how you stay organized, jobs you applied for, what you know about the company and role, relocating, salary, basic yes and no questions and other questions, How would you handle someone resistant to change? How to handle last-minute changes from devs affecting tc materials? How to win over a panel of professionals during a presentation?
