Interview
The telephone interview questions were; FDM first contacted me questions along these lines: What do you know about FDM? The purpose of the initial call was to set up the phone interview. The recruiter consultant sent me an email with FDM’s website and social network pages to prepare for the phone interview. The phone Interview questions were, Talk about yourself, What do you know about our company? Where do you want to see yourself in the next 5 years? Then I received an email with Assessment day Guide and items to bring on the interview day. There was an aptitude test, followed by a math test and then two interviews which were 7 minutes long. After lunch, there was a group task and a set notation and Venn diagram test. These are some of the questions that were asked of me or by others during the day: Math Test Basic arithmetic Long multiplication and long division Pythagoras theorem, to find unknowns using Simultaneous equations Logical Test Lots of brain teasers Questions that assess your ability to recognize patterns (e.g., given a set of numbers, determine the next three in the series) Interview

Question 1
Technical interview questions were: What does it mean to normalize a database? What is the difference between Abstract and Interface, Encapsulation, Polymorphism, Excel features. Behavioral questions were: Why do you want to join FDM? How did you address conflicts between team members during class projects? Set notations and Venn Diagram Test Questions involving whole numbers/prime numbers, factors and multiples of numbers, unions, intersects, compliments.A booklet was supplied during the test for help with Venn diagrams. The IT Aptitude test involved finding outputs of codes and block diagrams.
They want you to do well and give good interview advice beforehand. There was a strength based, pre - recorded interview first, then a one on one interview later. The important thing seemed to be being concise and providing real examples to backup your points.
Had to go through a phone call interview and then after that I had to go through a video interview and then after that had a few face to face interviews
They just wanna see that you're passionate about whatever stream you're on and you should be fine. They have quite a bit of enthusiasm, so you should be able to bounce off of them nicely.
