It was a very standard retail interview. There isn't anything specific to note. Easy, comfortable, simple. Standard preparation is recommended. I love the Express brand, and have for many years, so it was easy for me to use that as a talking point.
The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Express (Boca Raton, FL) in Apr 2016
Interview
They had a small interview after you apply online. They didn't take long to call you. You went in for the interview and it was nice one on one and they didn't ask you any hard questions but the wording could potentially confuse but I just think that was my interviewers fault. They just want you to know how to handle a sales position being positive and not rude. After the interview I got a call back within the next 3 days. And I was hired

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Express (Christiana, DE)
Interview
It was quick and expected. Much like the standard interview for these types of jobs. I was greeted, felt welcomed and was able to ask questions. I wish I would have gotten a call back,
Group interview where one of the managers picked one or two of us while sitting in a group of 6 to answer questions at a time. Basic questions like how would you respond to a customer or what is a style recommendation.
