      Web Producer Interview

      6 Apr 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Allentown, PA
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Enter.net (Allentown, PA) in May 2011

      Interview

They will ask some basic questions about your background and your understanding of HTML, CSS, and graphic design. Nothing too specific, just more of a research process to see where you will fit in with their team of constantly changing personnel. Knowledge of WordPress will take you a long way as they design all of their web sites using this free platform vs. actual real web design. Once Margo the terrible starts talking to you briefly, she'll probably start slinging dirt about some people in the office. All smiles and fist bumps. They also do not drug test or do much in terms of background investigation.

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Enter.net (Allentown, PA) in Aug 2019

      Interview

I came in and waited probably 20 minutes before seeing the hiring manager. She was friendly and easy to talk to, but asked me very, very little about myself. She gave me the job after 2 or 3 basic questions about myself. It was quite confusing considering I've hard harder interviews in retail stores than this place, and this is an office setting with technical responsibilities. Nonetheless, I accepted and proceeded to not be told what area I'd be working in, any company policies, or literally any other details about the job. I came in a week later for "training" and ended up getting fired over the phone over a policy I didn't even know existed because of the negligence of the management.

Hello! Thank you for your input! As you came to us as a recommendation from one of our long standing employees, we were hopeful that you would be a good fit within our company. However, you declined the original job offer and chose to work in a retail store only to be displeased with that position and contacted us back within the week. When you reached out again for a job we took a chance and brought you in for training, however leaving for over an hour and a half for lunch and not telling anyone where you were (note our lunch time is a half hour, which you had done previously) during your first week of employment left us needing time to consider the future of your position. We apologize if that decision didn't work with your expectations. We wish you luck in your future endeavors! Best Wishes, The Management Team at Enter.Net

      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Enter.net (Allentown, PA) in Mar 2019

      Interview

I applied online and got a call and an email the next day to come in for an interview. I came in a few days later. The project manager was very nice, however I feel like they didn't ask me enough(actually any) questions as to why I would be a great fit for this company, about my skills, etc. I was told some information about the company and quickly took a tour around the offices and then was offered the position (after only 20 minutes). Everyone seemed very friendly but the whole process was just unusual. I was told there is health insurance but its expensive, and was told that there would be PTO and vacation after 9 months. Wasn't given any numbers so I emailed the project manager just two hours after my interview to look over an official offer letter or benefits package to help make my decision. 2 and a half days go by and I still hear nothing back, so I emailed them again. Finally, I receive an email the next day (the day that I was supposed to give my answer by). I was told that the other candidates all accepted immediately so there was nothing open. (Were they even going to contact me to let me know?) It was the most unprofessional interview experience I've ever had. Best of luck to the new employees, I truly hope you didn't get conned into a company that will take advantage of you.

Good Morning, Thank you for your input! As we stated during your visit we were interviewing to fill numerous entry level positions in our company and made several informal job offers. At any time we work through dozens of applicants and were in the midst of working with many people when we received your request for a formal written job offer and written details of our company benefits. Several positions were filled before our team was able to put together your request by the time you needed it. If you ever feel you are not being responded to in a timely enough manner, you should feel able (as other applicants had) to reach out by other forms of communication; the interviewing manager's extension was available on the business card and on our website. We apologize that our interviewing process was not in par with your expectations. We have been a successful business and leader in our industry in this area for over 24 years. We employ dozens of fabulous people and the majority of our web team has been with us for over 5 years, so I hope you won't mind if they field any questions our newly employed team members have about the legitimacy of our business practices. Again thank you for your opinion and we wish you all the best in your future endeavors. Sincerely, The Management Team at Enter.Net, Inc.
