Two initial phone screen interviews 3 days apart.
First one was with the HR Manager, then 3 days later with the VP of Software Engineering – the hiring manager. After I cleared those hurdles, I was given a coding challenge to complete. A week after I handed in my coding challenge, I was called in for a 3-hour in-person interview with the team. At the end of the in-person interview, I was given yet another IQ challenge to solve in the room. I solved it.
Then another week later, I was called in for yet another final in-person interview, again with the VP of Software Engineering. This second meeting was only an hour long.
I expected to hear back after this meeting in which I was told by the VP that I had been shortlisted to one of two candidates.
However, I never heard back again. Not even a professional courtesy to inform me I didn’t get the job. I find that behavior absolutely unprofessional.
