I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Elite DFW in Jan 2020
Interview
I wasn't able to put my finger on it, but there was something sketchy about this company from the start. Upon reading other GlassDoor reviews, I think that I had a good gut. As another user stated, I was told "Tomorrow is the last day of our hiring process, can you come to an interview then?" If this is a typical practice, it's rather sketchy. Then when at the interview (which went very well, and mostly put me back at ease,) I was told that only 10/40 of today's candidates would be invited back to the second round, exclusively taking place tomorrow (Saturday.) A few minutes later, the interviewer told me "you know what? There are a lot of people on here that I don't want to call, and I think you'd be a great fit. I'll actually just pencil you down as "pre-approved" for tomorrow's interviews." Big Red Flag.
Everything seemed great. Perfect job description, very nice staff and interviewer, but I honestly thing it was just to put me at ease.
It's also a M-Sa job, with only Sundays off, so I think I'd of declined even if I'm wrong and it wasn't vaguely scammy.
