      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Electronic Arts

      Interview

Multiple interviews with different groups, often each with 3 or more people EA seems to like quantity and many interviewers go to interview people without realising why they are there (and their enthusiasm shows) Focus on those that seem engaged. The interviewers who don't want to be there will probably give their thumbs up. EA use interviews to gauge cultural fit. Don't worry about being able to answer difficult questions. The test is not in the question but in your way of dealing with it. Don't hesitate to say phew that's a difficult one and smile rather than trying to avoid the question or give some BS response. The latter could indicate you take yourself too seriously and may be a bore to be around.

      Question 1

I got one of the best questions of all time. They asked me how they could tell if someone like me was a genuine good hire or a fake. I couldn't help laughing but it was a brilliant question and quite easy for a genuine person to answer. I said that I go on gut instinct (I knew they liked the cut of my collar by this point, so I was directing them to follow this rather than for some smart response, which I did not have). I was also asked how I described my (difficult to describe) role at a barbecue. This is a variant of the 'elevator' question although possibly focusing more on the answer than concision. Again, a great question.
