The interview process was extensive but well communicated and organized. The interview that I went through lasted four stages. The first was a brief chat with the hiring manager about the job, followed by a half hour with an hr person. Third stage was a take-home project that I had a weekend to work on. The last stage was an onsite interview with 5 staff members that covered white board coding, domain knowledge, career fit (a chat over lunch), culture fit (touched upon many interpersonal and communication type of questions), and project extensions (where I was asked about enhancement of the take-home project). Overall, I had a very positive experience. DoorDash has an exceptionally well-organized and helpful HR team. All staff who interviewed me are extremely talented, accomplished, and friendly.
