I found the job on indeed.com, and I believe it directed me to edjoin.org. I submitted a resume and cover letter, and was e-mailed within two days. I was told simply that all Dojo Academy teachers had to take a "tough assessment test" before they were hired. They asked me to come in that week, in the afternoon or evening, since they seemed to only be open from 3-7PM. When I arrived at the specified address, I was confronted with a major obstacle: the business is located in an old building that houses reserved parking spots on the street level, and the business upstairs. There was no parking available, and the area behind the building was inaccessible due to a motorized gate that was not motion-activated. In essence, I had no access to the property. There was not even street parking. I sat in my car and dialed the company's number. There was no answer. I did the best I could to turn around in the tiny parking area without running into parked cars, and drove home. Unbelievable.
