A couple weeks after applying online a recruiter, Griffin, contacted me to schedule a screening call. It was a typical recruiter screening for a technical role and it lasted about 30 min. A few days after the recruiter screen, I had a 45 min video call with the hiring manager.
The next step was an at-home analysis assignment. The timing was interesting on my side because I was moving that week, but Griffin was very accommodating and understanding. Shortly after submitting my work I was invited for a final round of interviews - either in person in the NYC office or via remote Hangouts.
Cultural fit should be a major factor for all parties in a job search, so I opted to go to NYC and get a feel for the office. Everything was pro, from the travel arrangements to the set-up in the office, and communication was great. The day consisted of 5 interviews that lasted 45 min each, a tour of the office, and lunch.
After returning home I had one more follow up interview with the hiring manager that was more technical in nature. That same week I received a formal offer.
