There was an interview process with 3 rounds; the first 2 rounds are technical rounds, and the 3rd and final round is with the CTO.
In my case, I appeared in all the interview rounds on time, and I passed the first 2 technical rounds, and after that, I got confirmation for the last third round with the CTO, and when I reached the office at the given time, I got to know that the CTO was in an urgent unexpected meeting, so I had to wait, which I completely understand, that sometimes any urgency could arise and that needs to be solved.
When the CTO got free and he called me for the last round, he literally asked me 1 question, and then he just handed me off to another AI team member who had no idea about the interview progress throughout my first 2 rounds, so he took my technical round again in full depth, which was already taken in my second round, and lastly, I got a really cold response from HR that we will let you know whatever the next process will be...
I felt it was really unprofessional and disrespectful.
