I applied online. I interviewed at Design And Customize
Interview
The first step with them was an in-person interview in the office. After that, the next step was a very involved week-long design process/skills test. They were very slow and each step took weeks for some reason. The design test was pages long, very involved, and a test that would prove if you could do every little thing involved in the job title. They were offering $22 an hour, which is insanely low for a position like this- especially if you're new to design (but they wanted someone who was mid-level at least but was calling it junior) After not getting back to me for weeks at a time they rejected my application, and provided no feedback whatsoever about the project.

Question 1
They wanted to know about the experience, mostly with other clients. I got the sense that they were very cold and unwelcoming, even from the start. They don't seem very personable, and I just got a really weird sense of the place in general. Does seem like sweat-shop vibes to me.
