I applied online. I interviewed at Defense Unicorns
Interview
Pretty typical. Straight to the point. Most were culture questions. Multiple rounds. Seems like they know who they want already and have an exact person of who they are looking for.

Application
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Defense Unicorns (Dayton, OH) in May 2024
Interview
Three phases, I forget the first one. Maybe that was the recruiter convo. One of them was a pair-programming assignment, another was more general conversation.
The programming task wasn't anything mean from a technical standpoint. It is fairly basic actually, but effective at sifting out those who just don't know what they're doing. I got a severe case of tunnel vision and still passed. Still rating as difficult because it's harder than what most people ask for, even though it's easy compared to what I hear can exist (say a google interview).
I will say, they're faster than the large primes, but slower than some to get back to you, including BAH. First time I applied a few years back I didn't hear back until after I was at my new role. This time it took about a month to get through the whole process, whereas BAH was ready to snipe me with a process taking less than a week at the end (I delayed them because I knew this was my first choice).
