Declare interview questions

Submitted resume and cover letter in response to opportunity posting. Approximately one month later I heard back from an associate to schedule a call with the recruitment partner. On the call with the recruitment partner I felt that wires were crossed as she was pitching me opportunities at asset managers and keen to put me forward as a candidate for new mandates they had received in their capacity as a headhunter. I then clarified that I had applied and was interested in their internal position and was then almost deterred from applying to it, as she then described it as "a bit of social media" for a startup that is camping out in shared office space. I conveyed that I was still interested in the initial posted opening and she suggested I meet with the founder. An hour before meeting with the founder in-person, (scheduled two weeks in advance) I received an e-mail from the associate apologizing and requesting to reschedule. After responding with my availability, I never heard back from the people that manage the founders schedule. I did hear back about 3 months later from another employee (who had previously pitched me their P3 program) asking if I was still interested in the opportunity. Unfortunately, this position must have been misrepresented as it did not come across as an entry level opportunity only focussed on social media within the job description and was openly not a priority for the organization. They are exclusively focused on revenue generating placements ahead of internal hiring and growth of their organization.
