- 2nd round: 2 consulting case studies + fit, with senior project manager & team leader
- 3rd round: Skype interview (fit only) with VP

Other Project Manager interview reviews for Criteo
My interview experience at Criteo was disappointing and disorganized.
Unacknowledged Extended Interview: The recruiter interview was supposed to last 30 minutes but stretched to over an hour without acknowledgment.
Uncomfortable Remarks: The recruiter repeatedly highlighted how my background was different from the role, making me feel uncomfortable, and questioned my notice period.
Unprofessional Behavior: One interviewee laughed when I asked about the qualities they were looking for in a candidate, saying, "I don't know."
Ignored Requests for Information: I reached out twice for details about the case study for the third interview but was ignored both times.
Lack of Communication: After the final interview, I never received any feedback, and the recruiter ghosted me. I had to reach out to coordinate each stage of the process myself.

Question 1
What is the most important quality to be a product manager?
I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Criteo (New York, NY) in Feb 2025
Interview
Overall a disorganized experience with utter lack of communication. Got a recruiter phone screen followed by a 60min behavioral interview with the hiring manager. The round after that was a case study with two PMs in which I had to choose between two case options.
Instead of scheduling availabilities as expected, I was given only one time slot to schedule this round as the interviewers were busy, which was on a holiday when I had no internet access so I had to find a place to take the call. I had no option to ask for a different time. At the START of the interview, I received sudden communication that it was canceled since one of the interviewers were no longer available - no advance warning. I had to then reschedule this interview with different interviewers, but the question style I was told to prepare (case questions about situations that a PM in retail media would encounter) was completely different from the actual interview (very traditional, open-ended product improvement/design question). The product interview had a bizarre vibe overall and unlike any other product interview I've been in as it seemed like interaction and clarifying questions were discouraged. After the interview, I didn't receive any communication for a whole week, and following up with the recruiter offered no explanation as to why.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Criteo in Mar 2024
Interview
First Round: Initial call with the recruiter to discuss the role and your background.
Second Round: Fit and case study interview. This round involves assessing your compatibility with the company culture and your problem-solving abilities through a detailed case study. Expect the interview to last over 2 hours.
Third Round: Final confirmatory interview, where you will meet with senior management to review your overall fit for the position. This round may include additional questions or discussions. If successful, you will receive a formal job offer
I really appreciated how collaborative, responsive and nice HR and the team were. Very straightforward process without irrational hoops to jump.

Question 1
The first round is more behaivoral and fit oriented.
The second and third round are behaivoral with very technical element to it depending on the job. It was very interesting and engaging.
