I recently interviewed for a Product Manager Platform position at CRED and unfortunately, the process was quite frustrating.
After submitting my application and CV, I had a brief initial screening with a Product Manager who was late and only spoke with me for about 10 minutes. He said I'd move on to the next stage.
The next day, I received a take-home assignment to suggest five improvements for CRED. However, I wasn't given login details to access their platform, so I had to do a blind-coded version of my five suggested improvements based purely on public information. After submitting that, another Product Manager eventually apologized and gave me access, so I redid the whole assignment overnight.
When I presented it, the interviewers weren't even aware I'd submitted it twice and hadn't reviewed my work. In the end, I received a generic rejection email with no feedback. Overall, it felt disorganized and unprofessional. I hope this helps others be prepared for a similar experience.
