Interview
I applied online and moved quickly to a Zoom interview with a recruiter. Afterward, I was asked to complete a comprehensive, 4-part assignment. While I appreciated that the company compensated me for my time ($100 amazon giftcard), the experience soured after the project was submitted. Despite meeting all requirements and delivering a high-quality product, I was denied a final interview. When I reached out politely to request constructive feedback on the assignment and interview, I was ghosted. It is disappointing that an organization with "Constructive" and "Dialogue" in its name fails to practice those very values during the candidate experience.

Interview
The interview revealed that the work culture is probably not that people centered. I think the company had already made a decision about which candidates they were going to proceed with even though I did well on the interview and the answers I gave matched up to the qualifications and needs of the role. Furthermore, I felt that the company could’ve been more quickly, transparent about the fact that they were not going to move me on in the interview process.
CDI was extremely clear about their interview process and the various stages. They were cordial, responsive, and compensated applicants for their time completing the written test. A great interview process.
