My interview experience with Constantinople was extremely disappointing. When I arrived, I was taken into the office and completely ignored. No greeting, no eye contact, nothing. Everyone was too busy talking among themselves or glued to their screens to even acknowledge that a candidate had walked in. It felt rude, unprofessional, and honestly set the tone for the rest of the experience.
The interview itself felt judgemental from the start. Their facial expressions made it obvious they weren’t impressed and had already written me off before I even spoke. I’ve worked in customer service for years, but Instead of trying to understand my background, they acted like my resume was a problem and treated my varied experience like it was a burden instead of a strength. The atmosphere was cold and dismissive, and I left feeling like the whole interview was a waste of time.
The way they carried themselves showed they expect perfection from someone in a low-pay, entry-level role. Their expectations are completely unrealistic and don’t match the role, the salary, or the level of experience they’re supposedly hiring for.
The feedback I received from talent acquisition was no better. The only “positive” they could offer was that I was friendly, everything else was criticism. Nothing constructive, nothing helpful, just vague negativity. It felt like they expect perfection and if you’re not exactly what they imagine, they won’t even try to see your value.
Overall, the process felt unwelcoming, judgemental, and inconsiderate. I walked out knowing I didn’t want to work somewhere that treats candidates this way.
