I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Citi (Jacksonville, FL) in Nov 2022
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter a day after I applied on the Citi website. It was a 10 minute call to discuss the role, salary requirements and past work history. I was immediately scheduled for a follow up interview with the hiring manager the next week. I received an email a day later with tips about the interview and to prepare for behavioral based questions using the STAR method. Simple enough. The day of my interview I was supposed to receive a call at 11:00. I waited 8 minutes before assuming they weren't going to call and went back into work. She did end up calling me as I was walking back but I missed it. When she called back she asked if this was a good time since I didn't pick up the phone when she initially called (HELLO, YOU WERE LATE). The entire time she sounded extremely robotic, she kept yawning, at one point I was sure she fell asleep. It wasn't until I prompted her that she even explained the role to me. She read off a sheet of behavioral questions and then at the end she said she would send her notes to the recruiter and they would call me the next day with next steps. After that horrible interview experience I am not inclined whatsoever to work for Citi Bank. Extremely disappointed as I was very excited for this role.
