I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Citi (Budapest) in May 2019
Interview
I got throught to the interview via recommendation. Three team leaders attended the meeting. They were nice but they did not really ask anything professional nor anything about my previous experiences. They were only intrested about why I would like to work there. I think I did fine, but I asked for too high salary, and they did not even get back to me to reject me, I just go ghosted.

Question 1
Why would you like to work here and what makes xou a good fit?
Such dead people in this company. Even interview feels like a courtroom. I've cracked interviews being relaxed and confident in other organisations but here it's literally like they keep firing questions and have no facial expressions.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Citi (Budapest) in Feb 2024
Interview
3 rounds. 1 phone 2 technical.
I don’t know why, but I had 2 technical interviews and in the second the questions were insanely hard even though it was 30 mins, while the second round was 1 hour. They asked about balance sheet, pnl, financial products. Everything is bank related, so the balance sheet etc. The questions are complex, not general.

Question 1
If the bank trades FX how would that show up on the balance sheet and how would it affect the pnl?
