Most negative experience I have ever had. I was told by the interviewer that I was in store for a 30 minute behavioral zoom call, and so I prepared for about a week, making sure I knew all of the past experiences I can possibly draw from by heart and doing all of the practice zoom interviews. Then, the day came, I logged on and was greeted by a panel of 3 engineers. At first it went amazing, then after about 10 minutes I was told "Now the technical portion will begin." I was very confused by this, since I was told I was doing a behavioral interview by the recruiter that reached out to me. I told the interviewers immediately "I am not prepared for a technical interview, I was told this was strictly behavioral", and they essentially acted like I was lying about it. Anyway, long story short, I embarrassed myself in front of 3 engineers since the recruiter told me the wrong information. I then sent a follow-up email explaining how utterly unprofessional the experience was, with proof I was told it was behavioral, not technical and I got ghosted by every single person. The lead interviewer seemed like a genuinely kind person, but this is still the worst experience I have ever had out of around 30 professional interviews I have been a part of.

There was a phone screening, coding assessment, and an interview for resume review and to discuss the coding assessment. The coding assessment was alright, even though I didn't have all the answers they just wanted to see that I could reason through the problem and communicate my understanding.

I did the first round behavioral interview with the hiring team. It was about 45 minutes. Overall, good experience with fun interviewers. It was very casual and open and seemed like they wanted to get to know the candidates personally.
