The interview was quite tough, it lasted for an hour and they grilled me alot on various journal entries and in depth questions about hedge funds and PE fund accounting and reporting. Be confident and learn the basics in depth.

Journal entries on accrued expenses, bond purchased at discount. Classification different level of assets (1,2,3)
What are hedge funds and explain their accounting
Explain what comes under financial highlights
Explain any IFRSs or USGAAP (I explained IFRS 9, they asked followup questions regarding some journal entries on the same)
difference between realized and unrealized expenses and gains. explain its journal entries
explain your previous work experience and your roles/responsibilities
what are embedded securities and explain how they work?
Are you okay with working longer hours in the busy season?

Questions focused on accrual and prepayment journal entries and adjustments. Work life balance management and how to handle situation. Interview will give you scenarios. Thats all i can say and i hope this will reach to 30 words because i dont know what to say
40-50 min interview, question on journal entries, derivatives, financial statements. 4 panelists, very supportive not intimidating. Medium difficulty level of the interaction. Asked mutual fund vs hedge funds question and asked nav calculation. Tested accounts and finance knowledge.
