Interview was arranged via Indeed messaging, and a Teams meeting invite was sent, but with no scheduled time/date.
Although this was a paralegal role, I was interviewed by a non legal staff. The interview was very informal, she appeared to be resting back in her chair, the camera was aimed quite high up, so could only really see her head most of the time.
I felt it was a bit strange how they advertised for the role previously and didn't shortlist me, but to then shortlist me some months later when the roles became vacant again.
She did not ask me any questions about my knowledge of conveyancing, which was surprising.
She had said she would get back to me by Tuesday, which she did not. Only found out I was not selected from the Indeed app, where she had marked against my profile.
I found this to be particularly unprofessional, no courtesy email from their company email - but just a button click on Indeed.
All in all, it seemed like this was just a chat to break the boredom for her, as my CV was not typical. A huge waste of time for me, however.
