I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capco in Jun 2024
Interview
4 stages of interviews which took about 1 month to get through - the first being a standard introduction call for you to give more detail of your current experiences and also allows you to get more information about the role itself. The second stage is an in depth tech interview that really tests how deep your understanding of your chosen language is, along with further questions ranging across other standard technologies used within a tech-stack.
The other 2 stages are mainly comprised of situational/ competency based questions, giving you an opportunity to explain your experiences and show how you fit Capco's values.
At each stage you are given time to ask and learn more about the scope of the position and how Capco operates.

They do multiple rounds of interviews with different teams - first an intro with the Human Resources recruiter, then a manager, and then technical team to gauge fit of your experience.

Positive
My interview process with Capco was one of the most welcoming and respectful experiences I’ve had in consulting. Every person I met was friendly, genuine, and intentional about creating a comfortable environment. There were no “gotcha” or trick questions — the conversations were straightforward, fair, and focused on understanding my experience.
I appreciated that they gave me time to think, ask for clarity, and speak openly without feeling judged. There was no sense of elitism or ego from anyone on the panel. Compared to other firms I’ve interviewed with, Capco’s culture felt noticeably more positive and grounded.
I left the interview feeling respected, valued, and confident that my background and experiences were truly appreciated.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Capco (London, England) in Apr 2026
Interview
Interview process was fairly smooth, mostly verbal questions and no live coding/coding exercises. Overall a nice experience.
Some issues after accepting the offer however, they then took 3 weeks to get back in contact with me. The response was that the role was no longer needed and i may get hired as a "culpability" role. Within 24 hours this was then changed to their is a role after all. This part was rather stressful.
