      Sr. Program Manager Interview

      5 May 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at CAI

      Interview

To be candid, it was a highly unprofessional, disorganized process. Was first contacted for a "phone screen". I agreed then I receive an email for the "phone screen" which was actually a 30-min video interview via Teams with the recruiter. I passed this process then a few days later receive an "urgent" call from a different recruiter (apparently the head recruiter) who advised the hiring manager want to meet with me urgently for a 15-minute conversation and can I make myself available within the hour to speak with him. I rearrange my schedule, met with the HM (Anthony) and go through a very brief tick the box 15-min interview. It was absurd. I had no time to ask questions as he had hard stop. A week goes by, no word from either the recruiter or HM. I send an email to the recruiter asking for a status update. Nothing. No response. I then sent an email to Anthony, the HM requesting a status update. Nothing, no reply. Absolute crickets. Just ghosted despite my accommodating such "urgency". It simply reaffirms my unwillingness to deal with "recruiting firms" in the future. In my 15-years of professional experience, this ranks close to the top of what an unprofessional organizations looks like.
