I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Burlington Stores in Jan 2010
Interview
I sent a resume and was given an interview within a few days. I was prepared for a long interview with many of the usual questions however it surprised me to have the whole interview complete in one hour. I felt the questions asked were relevent to the job for which I had applied and not many of those silly questions that I hate were asked. My salary requirements were too high for this position so it didn't work out. The managers I met were friendly and didn't appear to be full of themselves. The store environment seemed relaxed though maybe a little dirty looking. Extremely small office space.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Burlington Stores (Hollywood, CA) in Jan 2022
Interview
Its pointless its 10 questions from a 2 page packet. You don't really engage with the person your interviewing. You don't see their personality or anything. Its very boring you usually get stuck with people that never should of been hired.

Question 1
Tell me about a time a customer complained about a product or co worker. And what did you do about it, did you learn anything from it to help in the future
Multiple interviews with all levels of management from supervisors all the way up to the SVP level. The sessions were spread out over a three week period. The communications from the internal recruiter was great and I was kept informed of situations and progress.

Question 1
Questions were mostly behavioral based as opposed to task oriented (how do you do this task).
I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Burlington Stores (Long Beach, CA) in Mar 2015
Interview
Depends on recruiters. I was supposed to do face to face interview but then they changed it over to a Skype interview which ended up being a phone interview due to connection problems. From what I gathered, the first phase is a face to face interview with a recruiter. The second phase is an interview with the Vice President which is conducted in a similar fashion. The question format is almost the same. Overall, my recruiter was real nice and very straight forward.
