I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Brookstone
Interview
Interviewed with store manager. Typical sales associate questions and probably checked for personality fit. Only one interview and was more of a formality to be honest. Ended up being a pretty chill job.

Application
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Brookstone (Houston, TX) in Sept 2011
Interview
The interview with Brookstone was different for me than a normal sales associate interview because they had told me that they were also considering me for a 2nd assistant manager. The interview took 3 long weeks and I interview with three different managers total. When they did offer me a position, they offered me $8.50 and instead of a seasonal worker, they made me a part-time permanent.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Brookstone in Apr 2023
Interview
Simple "sell me this pen" questions, availability, and salary requirements. Very standard and straight to the point. Explained the benefits and company structure along with my previous work experience. It was a job fair so it was all on the spot
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Sell me this Pen and why do you want to work in sales?
Pretty simple, basic questions. Be prepared to speak about skills and availability as well as work history. Interest in gadgets and talking to people is helpful. Flexibility is a plus as you may be asked to do different jobs.
