Applied online, next day I got an email telling me to book an assessment day. I booked the first one available, which was in 8 days. On the day I got there just before 7:30am. First, we had to do heigh and reach checks. Afterwards we had a presentation and then we had to wait to be called for a group interview. I think it was 5 of us in the room. We were given a task to solve and 3 of BA crew members observed us. That lasted 20 minutes. Afterwards we got sent back to the waiting lobby and got called for 1:1 interview. I had to read out the paper that was given to me and react to a difficult customer. It lasted max 10 minutes. Afterwards there is a lot of waiting, I was just drinking loads of coffee. They called 17 of us into the room where they told us we were successful. The last interview went really fast. It was two ladies interviewing me. They just asked about my previous customer service experience and asked why I did what I did in certain situations. They asked me about health and safety procedures and such. One of the ladies was all smiles and very cheerful where's the other one didn't show any emotions whatsoever, but both were very nice. In fact, everyone there all the way from beginning to the end of my day was very nice and cheerful. I was done with everything by 11:30. By the time I have left there was another group of people already queuing up for their assessments. I received a follow up email in 4 days. Unfortunately, I was not successful, but I'm still very happy that I had such great experience and am proud to have passed the first stage.
