Mission: To Fly. To Serve.
Open plan office which made all departments and levels of management approachable.
Great environment and learning opportunities across the entire Americas region.
They're using software that is outdated which can often hinder work practices however there was talks of everything being upgraded soon.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at British Airways (Dublin, Co. Dublin) in February 2017.
You will have a phone interview, a F2F interview, and on the manager's discretion - a 3rd F2F interview. Up on the offer they will ask you for 2 references (prepare your references that it will be a tough several weeks for them, full of questions), and background check, which is the criminal record check for the past 5 years. If you lived in Ireland for the past 5 years - great, if not, you will need to request a CRC in each country you lived in over the past 5 years. The whole process can take min 4 weeks, sometimes longer. Do not rely on the first start date you are given as if your background checks are not over by that date, your start date will be postponed to a later one.
We’re celebrating winning a hat trick at the UK’s leading apprenticeship awards.
Our apprentices voted us one of the top employers in the country – and two of our current students won individual awards for their outstanding achievements.
At last night’s Rate My Apprenticeship Awards ceremony in London, Heathrow Operations Agent Shannon Mitchell won the Outstanding Intermediate Apprentice (Level 2) award. And T3 Lead Customer Service Representative Abigail Roberts scooped the Outstanding Advanced Apprentice (Level 3) gong.
This is the first year we have been involved in the awards, and we also triumphed in the Employer Awards category. Based entirely on our students’ ratings of their experiences with us, we won a place in the top 100, entering the table at number 58.
The Employer Awards recognise and reward excellence amongst employers who offer apprenticeships and school leaver opportunities across the UK.
