I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at British Airways (Slough, Berkshire, South East England, England) in Nov 2016
Interview
Initially there was an online application form followed by an assessment. Putting yourself in different scenarios and how you would react.
There was a telephone interview which lasted 25 minutes. Questions such as how have you resolved a difficult situation.
They told me I passed at the end of the phone call and sent an email to choose the date and time of the assessment centre interview.
This lasted 2.5 hours. Was held at Holiday Inn. Lots of waiting around and about 30 candidates. They then invited us in to a room explained what the day involved and introduced British Airways as a company and what to expect in this role.
At the end we had another form to fill out with 6 questions which was timed at 7 minutes.
and they also explained the uniform requirements.
We had 5 to a table and 1 assessor. We were given laminated sheets each, which we could only read once they promoted us to. We had to act out and resolve the scenario with the assessor on a one-on-one basis as we were called to the back of the room in turn. We was also asked to read part of the instructions to check clarity in our speaking manner.
Once all candidates on the table had taken their turn, (there were 6 tables) we were handed out more laminated sheets each with a 'caption' which we had to define and pitch to the rest of the group on our table one at a time whilst being assessed.
All notes I made were collected at the end of each task.
I received a call 2 days later informing me of being successful in the assessment process.
Now there are 2 vetting stages (references, crb...) which will take about 1.5 month.

Interview
Pretty easy and straight forward , simple five questions regarding customer service, last more than fifteen minutes minutes , most of them are scenario questions refelecting on your pervious experience.
The process was smooth and fast. The HR were very supportive. They answered each and every doubt and made sure that the interview is aligned according to my convenience. The salary and timings and every other benefit is up to the mark.
