They were trying out a new group interview for their seasonal positions. It is a great idea in theory, better for the employee and employer, can be less nerve wracking and the employer gets to see you in a social environment with strangers. As it was their first run at it, it ran a little long, like 4 hours, so that was, unfortunately, a little uncomfortable. Great culture and overall welcoming experience, but some questions caught me off guard and were very introspective. There was about 20 of us in the interview, we had to: Introduce a partner (not ourselves), ice breaking drawing an animal on a partner's back, and one-on-one interviews with each of the 4 employees present. The last part was very uncomfortable for me as I felt it was rude not to talk to the other candidates, but you had to be also constantly looking over your shoulder like a vulture to see if the staff were free to speak with.
