      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Bluewolf (New York, NY) in Nov 2017

      Interview

My interview process with Bluewolf was positive up until the very end after the third and final interview. The first round was a phone interview with the NY recruiter in which she gave me a brief overview of the role and then I was asked to speak about my work/school experience along with some basic questions about why I wanted to work for Bluewolf. The 2nd round was a Google hangout video interview with the program director and two current employees in the program. I was first asked what I know about the company and the program and then afterwards the program director went into more depth about it and the possible directions employees can go in once the program is finished. Then each of the current ABE employees asked me a question regarding my work/school experience and some other behavioral type questions. The interview ended with the program director going over the rest of the interview timeline and then I was given some time to ask my own questions. After being told I was moving onto the 3rd and final round, I was sent the case study to prepare for, in which I had to use Salesforce in order to provide a "solution" for a potential client. For the interview, which again was on Google hangout, I first used a PowerPoint presentation to start things off and then switched over to a Salesforce portal to demonstrate my solution. Afterwards, the program director and the other interviewer asked me some questions about my solution and then went over the strengths and weaknesses of my overall presentation/solution. I was asked to give a brief review of my own work and what I would have done differently. The rest of the interview consisted of more questions about the role/the company and which direction I saw myself going in should I receive/accept an offer and finish the program. At the end I asked my own questions and was told by when I would hear by of a final decision. This is where my experience turned negative. I was told that I would hear back no later than 2 and a half weeks after my interview date. On the Monday of the final week before I was supposed to hear back the recruiter emailed me letting me know that they are still deciding and that I would hear back soon with a decision. The end of that week came and left without me getting notified of anything. The following week I emailed the recruiter asking if I could set up a time to speak with her on the phone. After calling the recruiter several times without my call getting picked up, I emailed the program director and the recruiter once more asking for an update on the final decision however, I did not ever get a response from either person. At that point, I stopped reaching out as I figured that had I been selected to be given an offer, they would have reached out already. I found that such behavior of not responding to emails or calls from someone who made it to the final round interview was very unprofessional and rude. Unfortunately, it seems that this is a common practice to just ignore or not notify candidates of a rejection instead of telling them, which all it does is lead candidates on instead of allowing them to move on.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bluewolf (New York, NY) in Feb 2018

      Interview

Applied online. - First round is on the phone with the HR recruiter. Extremely informal. Asks basic questions then tells you about the role. - Round 2 is phone conversation with someone in the line of business. - Didn't pursue round 3, which is apparently an in-person presentation, because I wasn't interested when I found out the salary. About the role: 3 months in "foundation," which is basically doing bootcamps & getting necessary salesforce certifications. The next 15 months are spent doing rotations to understand whether you would like to follow the career path of a project manager or solution consultant. Apparently, there is a 75% travel requirement. Salary: - Starting salary: 50k - Salary after 3 months: 55k - Salary after 18 months: 60k + 20% bonus (not commission based)
