Applied online, got an HR call several weeks later for 10 min, 2 weeks later phone call from hiring manager, 2-3 weeks later on-site interview. Flight is booked through them, and hotel, travel, and food expenses get reimbursed (make sure to check the sheet they give you in detail as to what they reimburse). On-site interview was from 8am - around 1pm. You get escorted by a HR person to a room where you give an app. 30 min presentation about what something you've worked on before (a scientific presentation basically on a project etc you've worked on). Be prepared for questions from the several (4-5) people in the room. You'll then meet with each individual for app. 30 min. in a separate room where they'll ask further questions and they'll assess if you're a good candidate. Do keep in mind, they will bring around 5 or so people who are qualified for the same position on site for the same interview. After the on-site interview, it may take a while to hear back. App. 1.5-2 months after the on-site interview in my case. Overall it was a pleasant experience as everyone was courteous. Do keep in mind in general that while everyone is courteous and may laud you on perhaps your research etc, you don't get the job until you have the written/typed up offer letter.
Extra points: They give you a goody bag before your presentation that includes a water bottle, and you get lunch as well around 12pm. They also have really good benefits which is enticing
