I arrived for my interview with some time to spare, but before I was even ushered in I was interrogated by the receptionist about who exactl I was there to see, even though no name had been provided for me in the email exchange. After having had to show her the email exchange, she showed me to a sit and left me there to wait for the headmistress.
After a few minutes, I got shown into the headmistress' office, where she was sipping coffee, during this time I hadn't even been offered a glass of water, and the interview started.
I soon realised that the headmistress hadn't really looked at my CV, and made assumptions about what she hadn't looked at and draw her own conclusions on other matters. Soon the interview started revolving around how great her school was, as she is the headmistress and owner, and much less at what I could have contributed to it.
She was very patronising throughout the whole process; she was uncomfortable when I showed her the parts of my CV that she had clearly omitted to read; and further more she was very deameaning towards my previous experiences. However, for me, the cherry on top, was the very personal questions she decided to ask: such as if I had, or was trying for children.
