I was originally an interim member of staff to support the team through a peak period. I then became permanent upon applying for a full-time role after seeing the company's culture and rewarding work. I agree with the process which was run. I had to apply officially and interview to gain the role on merit. I had an initial chat with the talent team to gain an understanding of the role in addition to sharing insights into why I felt like the role was a good fit and then went on to interview with the hiring manager and talent team. This interview was focused on competency based questions to support my application, although competency-focused, it didn't feel like this - they positioned it naturally and this is something I appreciate, as I'm not always my best self in environments. I'm neurodiverse, and adjustments were offered to me.
